Time
Where does the time go? My Sally will be 8 tomorrow. I can't hardly believe it. She is turning into such a funny, caring, creative, beautiful girl. And she really is a wonderful big sister. And she just makes me proud.
And time, why is there never enough hours in a day to get everything done? I haven't gotten to sit down and sew or pick up my knitting in a few days. I think I am in withdrawls.
I better get the birthday party planned, because impromtu parties are what I do best, so I need to get everyone invited.

Exhausted....
What a weekend. I am tired and sunburned and just wee bit crabby.
I guess the fun all started on Thursday. As farmers, we get some really cool "free" stuff. Now usually, this "free" stuff costs us anywhere from a few thousand dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars. But Thursday night was totally and completely free because they want the business we have yet to give them. And I get a free hat! And it will be pink! YEAY ME! So the free~Going to a free supper and getting into the rodeo! It was AWESOME! Well except for the fact Sally and Lucy were being shits, Betsy was with the sitter. I just couldn't see taking a baby to a rodeo and holding her the whole time with an impending storm coming. But I tried not to let it bother me too much. I just kept the camera up to my eye...and ignored them. Well as much as you can ignore "Mom. Mom. Mom. MOM. MOM. MOOOOOMMMMMMMMM." Anywho. I took 560-some pictures. Of people I do not know. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of the action shots. Of course The Man thinks I am crazy, which he may be on to something, but for different reasons. What am I going to do with all of these you ask? I. have. no. fucking. idea. But the way I look at it. Right now it is the one hobby that doesn't cost me anything! You would think he would see this as a plus for him. And on the impending storm. Yep it came. Right in the middle of the rodeo. We were in the nose-bleed section, so we didn't get immediately get wet, which was nice. It wasn't until the 300th time of hearing "I have to go to the bathroom REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY bad" that I decided to throw in the towel and leave. Really, I just couldn't take the bitching anymore. So we head down, in the torrential down pour to go to the bathroom. Getting from the bathroom (under the grandstands) to the car, somehow, I got totally soaked. Totally. But it was soooo much fun.
So on Friday, Sophia was coming to visit. With her princess. And like any good hostess would do, I put the thoughts out there of cleaning the house. And I wanted to really. I can't even remember what I did all day Friday. But its a good thing she knows me and doesn't expect much. I hate cleaning. You will hear me bitch of this......ALOT.
Saturday was fun. Sally, Lucy and I were asked to help a friend with a float in the parade. This is something I have never done, but I thought it was fun. Of course, I took the easy way and just drove the pickup pulling a trailer for most of it, because Bob knows that I don't need to loose any weight and all by actually walking the 2 mile route, but it was a blast. And the people watching you can do at an event like that.......priceless, priceless, priceless. After the parade we went to eat and get some ice cream and come home and wait to go to the carnival. Well, as fate would have it, about the time we think we want to go, a storm rolls thru and cools us down 20-some degrees. I was so disappointed ::sarcasm:: Good thing the girlies got invited to one of the neighbor's granddaughters birthday parties across the street, otherwise it would have been throw-a-fit-villa. Bob works in mysterious ways. So Sophia and I got to have a somewhat quiet evening, yeah as quiet as it can get with 4 children and a husband in the house. And I got to do some sewing for her!
Today was just an awesome day. I got to spend it with my sister, The Princess, my girlies and my cousins. Every year, my cousins, on my dad's side, come to town for the Jr. Rodeo. I wish we lived closer to them. I think they would be wonderful for the girlies. Or maybe, we just need to make the trip up there more and make the most of it that way. Anywho. I took another 588 pictures. I think I have taken a hobby to be more of an obsession as my friend, Stalker, likes to remind me. Again, I am in love with the action shots. But this time I do know a few of the participants, so I can give them pictures! And really that makes me happy! I need to figure out how to post pictures here so I can share some with you. I will work on that. Promise.
So that was my weekend. I really did enjoy it. I feel pretty content right now and ready to go to bed. Sweet dreams everybody. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

Where to start....
First off I am by no means a English major or do I have any idea about proper grammar or sentence structure. If I would have wanted it perfect, I would have hired it done. So what that means, is you get me! I will try really hard not to have a five mile run on sentence, but I am not guaranteeing anything! I write like I talk. And my husband turned me into a redneck, as much as I try to deny it.....he got to me....and made me worser (he favorite word!). Another thing, I like to cuss, swear, use profanity, what ever you wanna call it. And I do it like a sailor. I should probably be sorry for that, but really I am not. We all have our quirks, this is one of mine.
Okay, on to other things. I am a stay at home mom, that has been married for the last 15 and a half years to Mr. Carrie's Things. Mr. Carrie's Things grand passion in life is to be a farmer. He is an awesome farmer. I love that he gets to do it everyday. What I don't love, is that he thinks my grand passion is to farm too, and while I can do just about everything he can with regards to farming, IT.IS.NOT.MY.GRAND.PASSION. But I do what I can, and bitch very loudly somedays, because I love him and I know where our money comes from.
We have 3 beautiful, naughty, sassy, wonderful, intelligent girlies, Sally is damn near 8, Lucy is almost 6 and Betsy is almost 6 months old. They all pretty much bring out parenting skills that I do not possess. And possess is a word that I cannot spell or find in the dictionary, (online) so I had to call the dyslexic sister to find out how......face palm............don't worry, she will be reading this and has already gotten pure joy out of telling me how to spell it and that I had to call her about it. She gloats something terrible. Anywho where was I?
Oh yeah, so not only do I take care of my girlies, and the hubby, I also have my Mother-In-Law. Who has old-timers, and who thinks that I am the one who doesn't have a clue about what the hell is going on. She makes me crazy, but I love her.
I have one to many hobbies. I love to knit, sew, read and do photography. Somebody just tried to talk me into beading the other day, and she thought I was being funny when I said that if I came home with one more hobby I would be divorced. I am serious. He will divorce me. Our house, which is less than 1100sq. ft., is filled to the brim with my shit. For Bob's sake, Betsy doesn't even have a bedroom yet! We are going to transform our 12X12 shed into an office, but I think I am going to have to transform my half of the garage into a craft room. Yeah, he didn't take that so well. We will see what happens there!
Well this is it for this post, Mr. Carrie's Things needs us to be his runners, and I have 3 bitchy girlies, you know cause its summer, and who gets up before the butt-crack of noon anyway.
