I suck. As in big hairy monkey balls suck. When I started this blog, I wanted to blog everyday or at least 4 times a week. I have failed. So I am going to try and do better. :fingers crossed:
So I did get that dishcloth made the next day, however I haven't gotten a picture of it that I am proud to say I took. sidetrack-I have an Olympus E420 dslr camera. I have learned so much about my camera that I forget the simplest things about taking a picture. Which means, I haven't gotten a good picture because I don't remember to do it when the sun is out and at one point I forgot it had a flash. So my goal for tomorrow is to get some good pictures and post a few of them.
In the mean time though, I have made 3 more working on the fourth and hopefully getting about 4 more made to donate to my LYS so they can sell them for our local Relay for Life walk. I think I have come up with a pattern that I like so that helps. I also have finished the diaper bag for my friends daughter that just had a baby. I LOVE IT! Although purple is out of my comfort zone, it is sooooo cool. Now I just want to make the bibs, burp cloths, blanket and changing pad to go with it. I will link the website/patterns when I post the pictures of them.
On a completely different note, I went to an auction this weekend at our local Ben Franklin that is going out of business. Oh.My.Good.Hell. I am grounded for life. But I scored the coolest cutting table. Its huge and will take up a big portion of my garage stall that I am turning into a craft/office space! Sophia and the princess are coming down this weekend to help me clean the garage so I can have an ever dreaded garage sale to recoup some money I spend at the auction. I have needed to do this for sometime, but I absolutely HATE having garage sales. They make me bitter. But I will suck it up and do it cause I totally overspent and need to do something. I have vowed to never go to an auction with out Mister again.
This is all I have for tonite. I will have pictures tomorrow.

Cancer Dishcloth
Today I am going to start on a project I think will be some instant gratification! I am going to make a few Cancer Awareness Dishcloths for my LYS to sell for Relay for Life. I think that since I have been in a slump for awhile, this will be fun and also for a great cause! It will be similar to this one. (and this is NOT my picture. I am using it to show you what I am making.) I will post a picture of my own when I get it done!
I will update tomorrow! I am soo excited!!

The weekend.....
What a weekend. The girlies and I have been on a dead run since Friday. I am tired and sick. I have the worst allergy/cold attack ever. Not sure what brought it on, but holy crapoli, it can go away A.S.A.P. It has moved to my chest and it sucks!
So on with it! Friday we had Sally's softball family BBQ. We played a game of parents against the kids. And it was a blast and the food was awesome! The in-laws also came into town Friday, so after the bbq we went to Grandmas and visited with them. This was the first time they have met Betsy, so they were super excited, wish she would have been. She was having baby attitude! We spent time with them on Saturday doing go-carts and bumper boats. We went to eat and said our good-byes. They were leaving before I could even think about getting up on Sunday! We really do wish we lived closer to them. All the cousins just love being with each other.
So Sunday we get up and head to K-town to meet up with Sofia. On the way there, the allergy attack from the bowels of hell decides to kick in. I swear I have snot from 14 years ago. I don't know where it all came from! Anywho, we went to some friends family reunion, (cause that is not confusing or anything) and hung out with some old friends. It was so nice to be with people you don't have to explain yourself to. They just get you, understand where you are coming from, and don't give a fat rats ass either way!
Then we load up and go to the rodayo. Yeah, I think I have changed in the last 15 years since I was at this particular one, that or I have become a snob of sorts.......hmmmmmm we can contemplate that later, but its just wasn't what I thought it would be. There was no crowd participation and while I knew all the music played, they used VERY old ones and it just plain sucked ass. But it was fun to be with Sophia and being on cowboy "watch"! We got back to the motel late, and slept late, and just kinda hung out with Jackass and his harem. It really was a blast. Then we all loaded up and went and watched the firework display. I thought I was prepared to get the best pictures eva......WRONG!! So I decided to edit the ones I did get, and rock 'em that way! Maybe next year I will perfect it.......
Yesterday, again we slept late and hung out and did awhole lotta nothing. I went to my sewing class and visited with the neighbor. I really need to clean up this house today, but boltzy has decided that I need to go to K-town and pick up parts. YEAY ME!! And since he's not on a deadline, I can do some shopping.....hmmmm wonder if I can find that fire pit.......
Okay, gotta go.

Time
Where does the time go? My Sally will be 8 tomorrow. I can't hardly believe it. She is turning into such a funny, caring, creative, beautiful girl. And she really is a wonderful big sister. And she just makes me proud.
And time, why is there never enough hours in a day to get everything done? I haven't gotten to sit down and sew or pick up my knitting in a few days. I think I am in withdrawls.
I better get the birthday party planned, because impromtu parties are what I do best, so I need to get everyone invited.

Exhausted....
What a weekend. I am tired and sunburned and just wee bit crabby.
I guess the fun all started on Thursday. As farmers, we get some really cool "free" stuff. Now usually, this "free" stuff costs us anywhere from a few thousand dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars. But Thursday night was totally and completely free because they want the business we have yet to give them. And I get a free hat! And it will be pink! YEAY ME! So the free~Going to a free supper and getting into the rodeo! It was AWESOME! Well except for the fact Sally and Lucy were being shits, Betsy was with the sitter. I just couldn't see taking a baby to a rodeo and holding her the whole time with an impending storm coming. But I tried not to let it bother me too much. I just kept the camera up to my eye...and ignored them. Well as much as you can ignore "Mom. Mom. Mom. MOM. MOM. MOOOOOMMMMMMMMM." Anywho. I took 560-some pictures. Of people I do not know. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of the action shots. Of course The Man thinks I am crazy, which he may be on to something, but for different reasons. What am I going to do with all of these you ask? I. have. no. fucking. idea. But the way I look at it. Right now it is the one hobby that doesn't cost me anything! You would think he would see this as a plus for him. And on the impending storm. Yep it came. Right in the middle of the rodeo. We were in the nose-bleed section, so we didn't get immediately get wet, which was nice. It wasn't until the 300th time of hearing "I have to go to the bathroom REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY bad" that I decided to throw in the towel and leave. Really, I just couldn't take the bitching anymore. So we head down, in the torrential down pour to go to the bathroom. Getting from the bathroom (under the grandstands) to the car, somehow, I got totally soaked. Totally. But it was soooo much fun.
So on Friday, Sophia was coming to visit. With her princess. And like any good hostess would do, I put the thoughts out there of cleaning the house. And I wanted to really. I can't even remember what I did all day Friday. But its a good thing she knows me and doesn't expect much. I hate cleaning. You will hear me bitch of this......ALOT.
Saturday was fun. Sally, Lucy and I were asked to help a friend with a float in the parade. This is something I have never done, but I thought it was fun. Of course, I took the easy way and just drove the pickup pulling a trailer for most of it, because Bob knows that I don't need to loose any weight and all by actually walking the 2 mile route, but it was a blast. And the people watching you can do at an event like that.......priceless, priceless, priceless. After the parade we went to eat and get some ice cream and come home and wait to go to the carnival. Well, as fate would have it, about the time we think we want to go, a storm rolls thru and cools us down 20-some degrees. I was so disappointed ::sarcasm:: Good thing the girlies got invited to one of the neighbor's granddaughters birthday parties across the street, otherwise it would have been throw-a-fit-villa. Bob works in mysterious ways. So Sophia and I got to have a somewhat quiet evening, yeah as quiet as it can get with 4 children and a husband in the house. And I got to do some sewing for her!
Today was just an awesome day. I got to spend it with my sister, The Princess, my girlies and my cousins. Every year, my cousins, on my dad's side, come to town for the Jr. Rodeo. I wish we lived closer to them. I think they would be wonderful for the girlies. Or maybe, we just need to make the trip up there more and make the most of it that way. Anywho. I took another 588 pictures. I think I have taken a hobby to be more of an obsession as my friend, Stalker, likes to remind me. Again, I am in love with the action shots. But this time I do know a few of the participants, so I can give them pictures! And really that makes me happy! I need to figure out how to post pictures here so I can share some with you. I will work on that. Promise.
So that was my weekend. I really did enjoy it. I feel pretty content right now and ready to go to bed. Sweet dreams everybody. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

Where to start....
First off I am by no means a English major or do I have any idea about proper grammar or sentence structure. If I would have wanted it perfect, I would have hired it done. So what that means, is you get me! I will try really hard not to have a five mile run on sentence, but I am not guaranteeing anything! I write like I talk. And my husband turned me into a redneck, as much as I try to deny it.....he got to me....and made me worser (he favorite word!). Another thing, I like to cuss, swear, use profanity, what ever you wanna call it. And I do it like a sailor. I should probably be sorry for that, but really I am not. We all have our quirks, this is one of mine.
Okay, on to other things. I am a stay at home mom, that has been married for the last 15 and a half years to Mr. Carrie's Things. Mr. Carrie's Things grand passion in life is to be a farmer. He is an awesome farmer. I love that he gets to do it everyday. What I don't love, is that he thinks my grand passion is to farm too, and while I can do just about everything he can with regards to farming, IT.IS.NOT.MY.GRAND.PASSION. But I do what I can, and bitch very loudly somedays, because I love him and I know where our money comes from.
We have 3 beautiful, naughty, sassy, wonderful, intelligent girlies, Sally is damn near 8, Lucy is almost 6 and Betsy is almost 6 months old. They all pretty much bring out parenting skills that I do not possess. And possess is a word that I cannot spell or find in the dictionary, (online) so I had to call the dyslexic sister to find out how......face palm............don't worry, she will be reading this and has already gotten pure joy out of telling me how to spell it and that I had to call her about it. She gloats something terrible. Anywho where was I?
Oh yeah, so not only do I take care of my girlies, and the hubby, I also have my Mother-In-Law. Who has old-timers, and who thinks that I am the one who doesn't have a clue about what the hell is going on. She makes me crazy, but I love her.
I have one to many hobbies. I love to knit, sew, read and do photography. Somebody just tried to talk me into beading the other day, and she thought I was being funny when I said that if I came home with one more hobby I would be divorced. I am serious. He will divorce me. Our house, which is less than 1100sq. ft., is filled to the brim with my shit. For Bob's sake, Betsy doesn't even have a bedroom yet! We are going to transform our 12X12 shed into an office, but I think I am going to have to transform my half of the garage into a craft room. Yeah, he didn't take that so well. We will see what happens there!
Well this is it for this post, Mr. Carrie's Things needs us to be his runners, and I have 3 bitchy girlies, you know cause its summer, and who gets up before the butt-crack of noon anyway.
